the names keep getting shorter

the name on my bar council enrolment is batchu venkat sai lokesh. four words. loks is four letters. everything in between was me slowly working out how much of a name a person actually needs in order to be found.
i used to think a personal site needed the whole thing on it. first name, last name, a photograph in decent light, a sentence that could be pasted into a conference bio without anyone flinching.
that version of me bought domains like they were lucky charms. theloki.xyz sat there long enough to grow moss. lokesh.red looked like a product and felt like a nickname wearing a blazer. both of them were me. neither of them wanted to be a homepage.
loks.sh is what was left after i kept cutting. four letters, a shell, an email that is almost a shrug: l@loks.sh. if you have to explain it, the explanation is that i got tired of introducing myself in high resolution.
505 is the other name. it looks like an error because it is one: http version not supported. i kept it because most personal websites are running a protocol i do not want to speak, the one where you are a role, a stack, and a list of companies that once paid you to be available.
this page is the opposite of that. it is a room. it has a guestbook. it will be unfinished on purpose. if you came here looking for a resume, the door is open and i will happily send you one, but the furniture here is for staying.
